When the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet hall, Haman was falling on the same couch where Esther was. The king exclaimed, “Will he also assault the queen while she is with me in the palace?” As soon as these words came out of the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

Say to the righteous, he will be well, eating the fruit of their deeds.

“Because of your violence to your brother Jacob, shame will cover you, and you will be cut off forever.

Now we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those within the Torah, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become accountable to God.

Then all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you, if you listen to the voice of Adonai your God:
