and whoever wants to be first among you shall be your slave—
Whoever then shall humble himself like this child, this one is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
It shall not be this way among you. But whoever wants to be great among you shall be your servant,
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
But with you, it is not so. Rather, let the one who is greatest among you become like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.
I have an obligation to both Greeks and barbarians, to both the wise and the foolish.
For I consider myself in no way inferior to the “super special” emissaries.
I will most gladly spend and be spent for your souls. If I love you more, am I to be loved less?
For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Messiah Yeshua as Lord—and ourselves as your slaves for Yeshua’s sake.
