The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor secret that shall not be known and come into open view.

But you will receive power when the Ruach ha-Kodesh has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and through all Judah, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and figured out they were laymen without training, they were amazed. They began to realize that these men had been with Yeshua.

But Peter and John replied, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you decide.

Therefore do not judge anything before the time—wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the things hidden in darkness and also make clear the motives of the hearts. Then the praise for each one will come from God.

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not be afraid or worry about their threats.
