They were offering Him wine mixed with myrrh, but He didn’t take it.

they offered Him wine mixed with gall to drink; but after tasting, He was unwilling to drink it.

The soldiers likewise mocked Him, coming up and bringing Him sour wine,

For I tell you that I will never drink of the fruit of the vine from now on, until the kingdom of God comes.”

Amen, I tell you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.”

The disciples did as Yeshua had ordered them, and they prepared the Passover.

Scorn has broken my heart, so I am sick. I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but found none.
