What father, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?

“Can a woman forget her nursing baby or lack compassion for a child of her womb? Even if these forget, I will not forget you.

Or when he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?

“For what man among you, when his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.’

And if he asks for an egg, will he give him a scorpion?
