After he cut the ram into its pieces, Moses burned the head, the pieces, and the fat.

Hooks, a handbreadth long, were fastened in the House all around. The flesh of the offering was to be placed upon the tables.

Then Aaron’s sons, the kohanim, shall arrange the pieces, the head, and the fat upon the wood that is on the fire which is atop the altar.

Then Moses slaughtered it and splashed the blood around on the altar.
