Then He tells them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me.”

For the grief that God wills brings a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret. But the world’s grief brings death.

In those days, people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will flee from them.

Now it came about when she nagged him daily with her speeches and kept bothering him, his soul was annoyed to death.
