Yeshua said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, ‘We see.’ So your sin remains.”
Do you see one wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than him.
Oy to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight!
you say, ‘I am innocent— surely His anger is turned away from me?’ See, I will pass judgment on you, since you say: ‘I haven’t sinned!’
“That slave who knew his master’s will but did not prepare or act according to his desire will be harshly whipped.
I tell you, this man, rather than the other, went down to his home declared righteous. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
For if we keep on sinning willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
Therefore whoever knows the right thing to do and does not do it—for him it is sin.
