Then the Judean leaders were searching for Him at the Feast and kept asking, “Where is that fellow?”
This is John’s testimony, when the Judean leaders sent kohanim and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?”
So they were searching for Yeshua, saying to one another as they stood in the Temple, “What do you think? Won’t He come to the feast at all?”
After these events, Yeshua was walking about in the Galilee. He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Judean leaders wanted to kill Him.
Yet no one spoke openly about Him for fear of the Judean leaders.
Then the Judean leaders were amazed, saying, “How does this man know so much, having never been taught?”
“Where is He?” they asked him. “I don’t know,” he said.
