It was the Day of Preparation for Passover, about the sixth hour. And Pilate said to the Judean leaders, “Behold, your king!”

Now on the next day, which is after the preparation, the ruling kohanim and Pharisees were gathered before Pilate.

So Yeshua came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. “Behold, the Man!” Pilate said to them.

Because it was the Jewish Day of Preparation and the tomb was nearby, they laid Yeshua there.
