Pay attention, Job, listen to me; Be silent, and I will speak.

“How long until you end these words? Consider, and then we will talk.

Look, I waited for your words, I listened to your reasoning; while you were searching for words

“Listen carefully to my words; let this be your consolation.

Hear now my argument; listen to the contentions of my lips.

to bring his soul back from the Pit, that he may be illuminated with the light of life.

If you have anything to say, answer me. Speak, for I want to justify you.

For who has stood in the council of Adonai, that he should see and hear His word? Who has heard to His word and obeyed?
