“But where can wisdom be found? Where is the place of understanding?
So give Your servant a mind of understanding to judge Your people, to discern between good and evil—for who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”
He dams up streams from flowing. And brings hidden things to light.
Where then does wisdom come from? Where is the place of understanding?
“God understands its way and He knows its place.
And He said to mankind, ‘The fear of the Lord —that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.”’
Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are just when You speak, and blameless when You judge.
By wisdom Adonai founded the earth. By understanding He established the heavens.
Wisdom is as good as an inheritance, and even better for those who see the sun.
In Him all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all without hesitation and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
