But, if I go to the east, He is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find Him.

If He were to pass by me, I would not see Him! Were He to move past me, I would not perceive Him.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or is able to see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

Why, Adonai, are You standing far off? Why hide Yourself in times of trouble?

How much less when you say that you do not perceive Him that the case is before Him and you must wait for Him.

Truly You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, Savior!

When He is in the north, I cannot perceive Him; When He turns south, I do not see Him.
