Yet it will come about in that day that the remnant of Israel— those of the house of Jacob who escaped— will never again depend on the one who struck them down, but will depend upon Adonai, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

I will purge out the rebels from among you and those who transgress against Me. I will bring them out from the land where they dwell, but they will not enter the land of Israel. So you will know that I am Adonai.

“Yet I will leave a remnant, some that escape the sword among the nations, when you have been scattered through the countries.

O snakes, you brood of vipers! How will you escape the condemnation of Gehenna?

But you, O man—judging those practicing such things yet doing the same—do you suppose that you will escape the judgment of God?

Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, “Though the number of B’nei-Israel be as the sand of the sea, only the remnant shall be saved.

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? It was first spoken through the Lord and confirmed to us by those who heard.
