For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, like a root out of dry ground. He had no form or majesty that we should look at Him, nor beauty that we should desire Him.

Then a shoot will come forth out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch will bear fruit out of His roots.

In that day the Branch of Adonai will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land excellent and appealing for Israel’s survivors.

Just as many were appalled at You— His appearance was disfigured more than any man, His form more than the sons of men.

Of the increase of His government and shalom there will be no end— on the throne of David and over His kingdom— to establish it and uphold it through justice and righteousness from now until forevermore. The zeal of Adonai-Tzva’ot will accomplish this.

“Behold, days are coming” —it is a declaration of Adonai— “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and He will reign as king wisely, and execute justice and righteousness in the land.

Listen well, Joshua kohen gadol , both you and your companions seated before you, because they are men who are a sign—behold, I will bring forth My servant the Branch.

So Yeshua came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. “Behold, the Man!” Pilate said to them.

For what was impossible for the Torah—since it was weakened on account of the flesh—God has done. Sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as a sin offering, He condemned sin in the flesh—

or to governors sent by him for the punishment of those who do evil and the praise of those who do good.
