Then they spat in His face and pounded Him with their fists. Others slapped Him and demanded,

For dogs have surrounded me. A band of evildoers has closed in on me. They pierced my hands and my feet.

Yeshua did not answer, not even one word, so the governor was greatly amazed.

They blindfolded Him and kept asking Him, saying, “Prophesy! Who is the one who hit You?”

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are disjointed. My heart is like wax— melting within my innards.

People were completely astounded, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!”

Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped. They were utterly dumbfounded,

Immediately, the girl stood up and began to walk around! (She was twelve years old.) And they were overcome with astonishment.

Now when Yeshua had finished these words, the crowds were astounded at His teaching,

I am like an ominous sign to many, but You are my strong refuge.

Astonishment took hold of them, and they glorified God and all were filled with awe, saying, “We’ve seen incredible things today!”

They were all amazed, and they spoke to one another, saying, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

And all those hearing Him were astonished at His understanding and His answers.

They were on the way going up to Jerusalem, and Yeshua was going ahead of them. And they were amazed, while those who followed were fearful. Again Yeshua took the Twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to Him.

The disciples were even more astonished, saying among themselves, “Then who can be saved?”
