Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water, and she went and filled the water skin, and gave the boy a drink.

Then Adonai opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of Adonai standing in the road with his drawn sword in his hand. So he fell on his face.

Then the angel of Adonai found her by the spring of water in the wilderness, next to the spring on the way to Shur.

That is why the well is named, the Well of the Living One Who Sees Me. (Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.)
