Then Pharaoh instructed men concerning him, and they expelled him, with his wife, and everything that belonged to him.

Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her to be my wife? Now, here is your wife. Take—and go!”

So Abram went up from Egypt—he and his wife and everything that belonged to him, and Lot with him—to the Negev.

Then Moses let his father-in-law depart, and he went on his way to his own land.
