God called the dry ground “land,” and the collection of the water He called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
God saw that the light was good. So God distinguished the light from the darkness.
May the glory of Adonai endure forever! May Adonai rejoice in His works!
who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps truth forever,
He gathers the waters of the sea together in a heap. He lays up deep waters in storehouses.
The sea is His—He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
He said to them, “I am a Hebrew and I fear Adonai God of the heavens, who made the sea and the dry land.”
The Rock—blameless is His work. Indeed, all His ways are just. God of faithfulness without iniquity, righteous and upright is He.
