“You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say: ‘Mountains of Israel, hear the word of Adonai.

Therefore thus says Adonai Elohim: ‘Surely in the fire of My wrath I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, that have taken My land for themselves as a possession with the joy of all their heart and contempt in their souls, in order to seize it as plunder.’

Do not enter the gate of My people in the day of their disaster. Yes, you. Do not gloat over their misery in the day of their disaster. Yes, you— do not loot their wealth in the day of their calamity.

Adonai my Lord, is my strength. He has made my feet like a deer’s, and will make me walk on my high places. For the choir director: On my stringed instruments.

He made him mount the heights of the land. so he ate the produce of the field. He suckled him with honey from a rock, with oil from a flinty boulder.
