You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
For God did not spare angels when they sinned, but threw them into Sheol. He put them in chains of gloomy darkness, to be held until the judgment.
Once I was alive apart from the Torah; but when the commandment came, sin came to life
“Son of man, lift up a lament for the king of Tyre. Say to him, thus says Adonai Elohim: ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
The crown has fallen from our head. Oy to us, for we have sinned!
How you have fallen from heaven, O brightstar, son of the dawn! How you are cut down to the earth, you who made the nations prostrate!
Only this have I discovered: God made mankind upright, but they went seeking after many schemes.”
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
So God saw everything that He made, and behold it was very good. So there was evening and there was morning—the sixth day.
