Stand firm then! Buckle the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness.

He put on righteousness as a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on His head. He clothed Himself in robes of vengeance and wrapped Himself in zeal as a cloak.

But since we are of the day, let us be sober-minded—putting on the breastplate of faithfulness and love, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Also righteousness will be the belt around His loins, and faithfulness the belt around His waist.

“Have your belt strapped on and lamps burning.

So brace your minds for action. Keep your balance. And set your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Yeshua the Messiah.

Now here is how I saw the horses and those riding on them: they had breastplates that were fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow. The heads of the horses were as heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and brimstone.

They had chests like iron breastplates; and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many horse-drawn chariots rushing into battle.

I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was as my robe and turban.

The night is almost gone and the day is near, so let us put off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist when the times are evil, and after you have done everything, to stand firm.

Meanwhile the Moabites heard that the kings had marched to fight against them. So they gathered themselves together, all that were able to put on armor and older, and stood at the border.
