but with whomever is standing here with us today before Adonai our God and with whomever is not here with us today.

who are Israelites. To them belong the adoption and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Torah and the Temple service and the promises.

Not with our fathers has Adonai cut this covenant but with us—all of us alive here today.
