For Adonai your God will bless you as He promised you. So you will lend to many nations, but not borrow; you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.

Now You are willing to bless the house of Your servant, so that it may continue forever before You, for it is You, Adonai who have blessed, and it is blessed forever!”

And he ruled over all the kings from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, and as far as the border of Egypt.

Mighty kings have ruled over Jerusalem governing all the Trans-Euphrates, and tribute, taxes, and duty were paid to them.

Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies who oppressed them. But in the time of their distress, they cried out to You and You heard from heaven. According to Your great compassion, You gave them deliverers, who rescued them out of the hand of their enemies.

Good comes to a man who is gracious and lends. He will order his affairs with fairness.

The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous is a gracious giver.

All day long he is gracious and lends. So his offspring will be a blessing.

The rich rule over the poor, the borrower is a slave to the lender.

“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great and you will be sons of Elyon, for He is kind to the ungrateful and evil ones.

If only you would carefully listen to the voice of Adonai your God, being careful to do all these mitzvah that I am commanding you today!

He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will become the head and you will become the tail.
