I will make you a bare rock; you will be a place for the spreading of nets, you will be built no more; for I, Adonai, have spoken.” It is a declaration of Adonai.

“Anyone who sacrifices to the gods, except to Adonai alone, is to be put under a ban of destruction.

They utterly destroyed everything in the city—man and woman, young and old, ox, sheep and donkey—with the edge of the sword.
