You are not to eat it—you are to pour it out on the ground like water.

“It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you must eat neither fat nor blood.”

But you are not to eat the blood—you are to pour it out on the ground like water.

Only be sure that you do not eat the blood—for the blood is the life, and you are not to eat the life with the meat.

You are not to eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in Adonai’s eyes.

Only its blood you are not to eat—you must pour it out on the ground like water.
