In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they might not see the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God.

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Messiah.

Who, though existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal to God a thing to be grasped.

He rescued us from the domain of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son whom He loves.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or is able to see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

This Son is the radiance of His glory and the imprint of His being, upholding all things by His powerful word. When He had made purification for our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

And again, when He brings the firstborn into the world, He says, “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”

By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger—for he persevered as if seeing the One who is invisible.

To the angel of Messiah’s community in Laodicea write: “Thus says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Originator of God’s creation:
