Do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

One who is kind to the poor lends to Adonai, and Adonai will reward him for his good deed.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with tza'arat, drive out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

For you know the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah—that even though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that through His poverty you might become rich.

The one who steals must steal no longer—instead he must work, doing something useful with his own hands, so he may have something to share with the one who has need.

I did not shrink back from proclaiming to you anything that was profitable, teaching you publicly as well as from house to house,

But the noble devises noble plans, and for noble causes he stands.

For in what respect were you treated worse than the rest of Messiah’s communities—except that I myself did not burden you? Pardon me this injustice!

When I was present with you and I was in need, I did not burden anyone; for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied my need. In everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and I will continue to do so.

and aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, just as we directed you—

But what I am doing I will continue to do, so that I may cut off the opportunity from those who want an opportunity in what they boast about to also be regarded just as we are.

If others have a share in this claim over you, shouldn’t we even more? Nevertheless we did not use this right, but we put up with all things so that we cause no hindrance to the Good News of Messiah.

You yourselves know that these hands of mine have provided for my own needs as well as for those with me.

When he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

For on behalf of the Name they went out, accepting nothing from the pagans.
