After these events, Yeshua was walking about in the Galilee. He did not want to walk in Judea, because the Judean leaders wanted to kill Him.

Then they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Yeshua hid Himself and went out from the Temple.

In those days, Peter stood up among the brothers and sisters (the number of names all together was about a hundred and twenty) and said,

But Peter kept on knocking. When they opened the gate, they saw him and were amazed!

When day came, there was no small commotion among the soldiers as to what had become of Peter.

So Paul, standing up and motioning with his hand, said, “Men of Israel and God-fearers, listen.

After they finished speaking, Jacob answered, “Brothers, listen to me.

When Paul and Silas went out of the prison, they visited Lydia’s house. And when they saw the brothers, they encouraged them and then departed.

Some of the crowd solicited Alexander, whom the Jewish people put forward. Alexander motioned with his hand. He wished to offer a defense to the crowd.

On the next day, Paul went in with us to Jacob; all the elders were present.

When the commander had given him permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned to the people with his hand. When there was a great hush, he spoke to them in Aramaic, saying:

Now the brothers there, when they heard about us, came as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. When Paul saw them, he gave thanks to God and took courage.

Then He appeared to Jacob, then to all the emissaries,

But I saw no other emissaries except Jacob, the Lord’s brother.

for before certain people came from Jacob, he regularly ate with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and separate himself, fearing those from the circumcision.

Realizing the favor that had been given to me, Jacob and Peter and John—who are the recognized pillars—shook hands in partnership with Barnabas and me, so that we would go to the Gentiles and they to the Jews.
