But Lot said to them, “No, my Lord, please!

“Also you are to make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean bird and the clean. And you are not to make your souls detestable by an animal or by a bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have set apart as unclean for you.

It’s not what goes into the mouth that makes the man unholy; but what comes out of the mouth, this makes the man unholy.”

Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Never, Master! This must never happen to You!”

But the wise ones replied, ‘No, there won’t be enough for us and for you. Instead, go to those who sell, and buy some for yourselves.’

And a man with tza'arat came to Him and bowed down before Him, saying, “Master, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”

And they saw that some of His disciples were eating bread with unclean hands, that is, not washed.

But his mother declared, “No, he will be called John.”

“Sir,” the woman tells Him, “You don’t have a bucket, and the well is deep. Then from where do You get this living water?

A voice came to him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

He said to them, “You yourselves know that it is not permitted for a Jewish man to associate with a non-Jew or to visit him. Yet God has shown me that I should call no one unholy or unclean.

“I answered, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ “He said to me, ‘I am Yeshua ha-Natzrati, whom you are persecuting.’

“Who are You, Lord?” Saul said. “I am Yeshua—whom you are persecuting.
