For if I cause you sorrow, then who is there cheering me on but the one I have made sorrowful?

But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving, for he had much property.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.

If one part suffers, all the parts suffer together. If one part is honored, all the parts rejoice together.

just as you understood us in part, so that we are your reason for boasting just as you also are ours in the Day of our Lord Yeshua.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not burn with indignation?

For even if I grieved you with my letter, I do not regret it—though I did regret it, for I see that my letter grieved you, but just for a while.
