Jeroboam could not muster strength again in the days of Abijah. Finally Adonai struck him and he died.
The days that Jeroboam reigned were 22 years and then he slept with his fathers. His son Nadab reigned in his place.
In the twentieth year of King Jeroboam of Israel, Asa began to reign over Judah.
Abijah pursued Jeroboam and captured towns from him: Bethel with its villages, Jeshanah with its villages, and Ephron with its villages.
