holding fast to the word of life, so that I may boast in the day of Messiah that I did not run or labor in vain.

But I hope in the Lord Yeshua to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too might be encouraged when I know the news about you.

For you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not in vain.

But now that Timothy has come to us from you and brought us the good news of your faithfulness and love, and that you always have good memories of us, longing to see us just as we long to see you—
