So David inquired of Adonai saying, “Shall I go and attack those Philistines?” Adonai said to David, “Go, attack the Philistines and deliver Keilah.”

Once again David inquired of Adonai, and Adonai answered him saying, “Arise! Go to Keilah, for I am going to deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

When Saul inquired of Adonai, Adonai did not answer, neither by dreams nor by Urim or prophets.

So David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and rescued his two wives.

There was nothing of theirs missing, whether young or old, sons or daughters, spoils or anything else that had been carried off—David recovered everything.
