Then the men of Israel and Judah rose up, shouted and pursued the Philistines all the way to the valley up to the gates of Ekron. The slain Philistines fell down along the way to Shaaraim, even up to Gath and Ekron.

Once again war broke out, and David marched out and fought the Philistines, and inflicted a great slaughter on them and they fled before him.
