For this is the message you have heard from the beginning—we should love one another.
So He gets up from the meal and lays aside His outer garment; and taking a towel, He wrapped it around His waist.
“This is My commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you.
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you fulfill the Torah of Messiah.
and walk in love, just as Messiah also loved us and gave Himself up for us as an offering and sacrifice to God for a fragrant aroma.
Now concerning brotherly love, you have no need for anyone to write you—for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.
Now the goal of this command is love from of a pure heart and a clear conscience and a genuine faith.
Now that you have purified your souls in obedience to the truth, leading to sincere brotherly love, love one another fervently from a pure heart.
Finally, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, tenderhearted, humble-minded.
Above all, keep your love for one another constant, for “love covers a multitude of sins.”
Now this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you—that God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.
Loved ones, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
And this commandment we have from Him: that the one who loves God should also love his brother.
Loved ones, let us love one another, for love is from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Now I ask you, dear lady, that we love one another. It is not as though I am writing you a new command, but the one we have had from the beginning.
