Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, without raising questions of conscience.
Again a voice came to him, a second time: “What God has made clean, you must not consider unholy.”
Therefore it is necessary to be in submission—not only because of punishment but also because of conscience.
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Yeshua, that nothing is unholy in itself; but it is unholy for the one who considers it unholy.
But that knowledge is not in everyone—some, so accustomed to idols up until now, eat food as an idol sacrifice; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving;
To the pure all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Both their mind and conscience are defiled.
