While Ornan was threshing wheat, he turned and saw the angel. His four sons who were with him hid themselves.
So David went up by the word of Gad, which he spoke in the Name of Adonai.
When David came to Ornan, Ornan looked up and saw David. He went out from the threshing floor and bowed to David with his face to the ground.
Then the angel of Adonai came and sat under the terebinth that was at Ophrah, that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the winepress—in order to hide it from the Midianites.
