from Asher 40,000 experienced warriors arrayed for battle;

from the Danites, 28,600 equipped for battle;

and from beyond the Jordan, from the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh 120,000 armed with every type of weapons of war.

For Moses had given the inheritance of the two tribes and the half-tribe across the Jordan. But he gave no inheritance to the Levites among them.
