Now Joab remained over all the army of Israel; Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites;

These were the exploits of Beniah son of Jehoiada, who gained renown among the three mighty men.

The mighty men were: Asael Joab’s brother, Elhanan son of Dodo from Bethlehem,
