Romans 9:4

They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption as sons, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the temple service, and the promises.

“Listen to another parable: There was a master of a house who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a winepress in it, built a tower, leased it to farmers, and left the country.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

For this promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God calls to himself.”

Much in every way. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but a spirit of adoption as sons, by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”

It is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all Israelites truly belong to Israel,

Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they the offspring of Abraham? So am I.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say, “And to his descendants,” referring to many, but referring to one man it says, “And to yoʋr descendant,” who is Christ.

remember that you were apart from Christ at that time, excluded from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly sanctuary.

but deal only with food and drink, and various washings and regulations for the flesh, imposed until the time of reformation.

Behind the second veil was a room called the Holy of Holies.

Above the ark were the cherubim of glory, overshadowing the mercy seat. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.

When these things were all in place, the priests regularly entered the first room of the tabernacle, performing their sacred duties.
