He also said, “The kingdom of God is like a man who scatters seed on the ground.
Jesus answered them, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a person who sowed good seed in his field,
Then he told them many things in parables, saying, “Behold, a sower went out to sow.
He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field,
He spoke to them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour until it had all been leavened.”
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has drawn near.”
From that time Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has drawn near.”
For whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he does not know how.
Then Jesus said, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what should I compare it?
“Now this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
“A sower went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some seed fell along the path and was trampled underfoot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
