Luke 21:23

Woe to those who are with child and to those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

I think it is good then, on account of the present distress, for a man to remain as he is.

by hindering us from telling the Gentiles how they can be saved. In this way they are always filling up the measure of their sins, but wrath has come upon them at last.

Do not neglect to do good and to share with others, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Come now, you who are rich, weep and howl over the miseries that are coming upon you.

For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God, and if it begins first with us, what will be the outcome for those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?
