Then he said to them, “Which of you whose son or ox falls into a pit on the Sabbath will not immediately pull him out?”

Then the Lord answered him, “Hypocrites! Do not each of you on the Sabbath untie yoʋr ox or donkey from the manger, lead it away, and give it water?

But they remained silent. So Jesus took hold of the man, healed him, and sent him away.
