I am giving you these commands so that you may love one another.

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you must love one another.

“This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

Give honor to all, love the brotherhood, fear God, and honor the king.

And now I ask yoʋ, dear lady—not as writing yoʋ a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another.
