Anyone who has rejected the law of Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
But if he does not listen, take one or two others with yoʋ, so that every matter may be established by the mouth of two or three witnesses.
In your own law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid.
For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
This is the third time I am coming to you. Every matter must be established by the mouth of two or three witnesses.
See to it that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if the people did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we escape if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?
For if the message spoken through angels was valid and every transgression and disobedience received a just retribution,
For judgment is without mercy to anyone who has not shown mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.
