Then the governor's soldiers took Jesus with them into the governor's headquarters and gathered against him the entire cohort of soldiers.

He even tried to desecrate the temple, so we seized him.

So the next day Agrippa and Bernice came with great pomp and entered the auditorium along with the military commanders and the distinguished men of the city. Then Festus gave the command, and Paul was brought in.

That is why the Jews seized me in the temple courts and were trying to kill me.
