Acts 10:4

Staring at him intently, Cornelius was afraid and said, “What is it, Lord?” The angel said to him, “Yoʋr prayers and charitable acts have ascended as a memorial offering before God.

But when Mary saw him, she was greatly perplexed by his statement and began wondering what sort of greeting this might be.

I have received everything in full and have an abundance. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are an aroma of a sweet fragrance, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

Be anxious about nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.

Do not neglect to do good and to share with others, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

For God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the labor of love that you have shown toward his name by serving the saints, as you still do.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended up to God from the hand of the angel.
