However, not everyone possesses this knowledge. But some have idols in their conscience even now and eat such food as something sacrificed to idols, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled.

but that we write to them, telling them to abstain from things defiled by idols, from fornication, from what has been strangled, and from blood.

And we urge you, brothers, to admonish those who are idle, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, and be patient toward all.
