Woe to those who are with child and to those who are nursing infants in those days!

Woe to those who are with child and to those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

Now concerning the matters about which you wrote to me: “It is good for a man not to touch a woman.”

Are yoʋ pledged to marry a woman? Do not seek to be released. Are yoʋ free from such a commitment? Do not seek a wife.

But even if yoʋ do marry, yoʋ have not sinned. And if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will have tribulation in the flesh, and I am trying to spare you.

Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them if they remain even as I am.

not to be quickly shaken from your understanding or alarmed by any spirit or message or by any letter supposedly from us alleging that the day of Christ has already come.

For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God, and if it begins first with us, what will be the outcome for those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?
